Your Marietta Family Law Attorney.

Let Our Family Help Your Family

“Do unto others…” are not just words to me. I built my family law and litigation practice in Marietta to help my neighbors – the people living and working in the community – create positive outcomes for their most basic legal needs, from adoption through wills, estate planning and probate.  I help my clients through their major life events, whether that is child custody and divorce or personal injury litigation, guardianships or business disputes.

What You Can Expect

From the moment you contact me, I am your strongest proponent, putting my years of experience to work as your trusted advisor and tireless advocate to protect your legal rights and pursue your goals with respect for your situation, your values, your relationships, your time and your money.

I understand the emotional and financial strain arising from life issues like divorce or other litigation and that’s why I begin by building a solid foundation of trust with each of my clients based on a commitment that I will help them navigate toward the most efficient and most desired resolution in the most ethical way possible.

I won’t represent those who want to “stick it to the other guy.” I work from the basic tenet of common decency and concern for my clients and their families. I listen to your worries, your hopes and your fears to create open, honest dialogue, lasting relationships and the confidence that I will provide you with the tools, knowledge and counsel you need to navigate the legal landscape and emerge with the results you desire.

Our Family

My practice is one of family and for family. For the past 12 years, I have been a trusted attorney for businesses and individuals in Atlanta and Anchorage. I made the decision to move back to Georgia from Alaska with my wife of 26 1/2 years to be closer to her family and because we enjoyed the small-town feel of the Marietta community. My wife, Pamela, is an important part of my practice, operating as the office administrator, legal secretary and receptionist. My paralegal, Scarlett, moved here from Alaska to continue to work with me and to be closer to her daughter who attends South Carolina State. Scarlett’s 20 years of experience, excellent work ethic and strong working relationships continue to be an asset to both our clients and our practice. Together, we form a close unit of individuals who work together to do everything we can to care for you and your family with experience, knowledge and understanding.
